What do you have there?
Mommy's make up bag? OH, wow. Are you painting yourself? Well.. I'm glad to know that your having fun, even though you look like you've been in a rough and tumble fight.
I found these pictures of Ayden from around the time he was 18 months(ish). And they were just too cute to pass up. Yes, he had gotten into my makeup bag. Dug his tiny little fingers into a tube of lipstick and smeared it all over himself and everything that was near him. In another picture I took you can see hand prints on the white wall. If memory serves me right, he got into this bag, in this same location more than once. In fact, I'm thinking at least twice. I don't remember why I left the bag accessible, but for some reason I did.
I'm telling you, we had our hands full with this one, still do as a matter of fact.
Too cute to pass up and not show you
15 Months
It's hard to believe that Logan has been with us for 15 months. In some ways it seems like he's always been with us and then other times it feels like it hasn't been very long at all. His cuteness increases everyday. At 15 months he's:
You continue to hold my heart
- walking
- somewhat running
- saying "mamma", "dadda", "baba", and something that he says to the animals that I can never quite make out
- still loves his paci
- eats everything we eat, and more
- still napping very well for mommy
- LOVES to play outside
- Prefers daddy's Jimmy to mommy's car
- is without a doubt a "daddy's boy"
- still has only four teeth
- sticks his tongue out
- mimics us
- plays in his brother's room more often than his own
I still very much remember the first time you held my hand
Love you babe. Sorry about the shots today. It went quick and there weren't many tears.

Before My Eyes
He has grown up. It has flown by so fast I cannot begin to tell you where the time went. I forget so much and that's why am I so very thankful for pictures. I have lost count of the number of pictures we have from over the years. But looking back through them sparks my memories and it is such a fun and wonderful journey to take. I still remember the day clearly (parts of the day anyway). I gave birth to Ayden Thomas at 2:11pm on May 11th 2005.
7lbs 7oz
Here he is as a newborn, just minutes old.
Two weeks old and nearly a thousand pictures already
Right after turning one, I love that curly hair. Often confused as a "cute little girl" by older endearing little ladies. After it happening a million times you stop explaining and just say "thanks"
Two years old and no more curls, less baby too. But adorable none the less.
He's three and more boy than ever. But still as sweet as can be.
Four and changing so quickly. Growing up is hard, but we cherish the smiles
And finally... the big F*I*V*E!
Let me say a few things about the Ayden I know:
He's
hilarious
incredibly smart
Incredibly handsome (just like his daddy)
(did I mention funny? that kid cracks us up!)
kindhearted and genuine
loving and caring
rambunctious at times most of the time
strong
and
courageous
And so abundantly blessed!
Mommy and Daddy love you so much my sweet, sweet boy!

Beauty
My mom is the most beautiful person I know. Her heart for her children is proof. "Charm is deceptive, and beauty does not last; but a woman who fears the LORD will be greatly praised." (Proverbs 31:30)
Thank you for raising me in the church, without that background I would be utterly lost
Thank you for being a rock for this family and the glue that holds it together
Thank you for your loving kindness, even when I didn't deserve it
Thank you for accepting me for who God made me to be
Thank you for sticking by me, even when I was wrong
Thank you for cleaning my house =P
Thank you for your heart of gold
Thanks for being mom
By the way, I think you are Beautiful
